Eleven years ago, Haley Downing did a deep dive into the world of natural health and became a student of the Earth and its miraculous gifts. If there was something I could do to protect my body, it was to become a homemaker of natural things. During this journey, Haley went on to become a mother, and the importance of protecting her “hive” became that much more vital. Wanting the best nourishment for her family’s skin, she created their own skincare out of tallow. She found the highest quality tallow and created the most effective moisturizer she'd ever used. Living in a dry mountain climate after growing up in the humidity of South Texas, this creation was miraculous...and she felt she had to share it with others. And, thus, Sunbird Collective was born. Haley handcrafts each and every batch in-house and puts a lot of love into each jar. It is also her continued mission to partner alongside regenerative ranches who are diligently working to restore the soil and land.
