THE FLOWER BATH FLORAL RITUAL SOAK

$24.00

A blend to help connect us to the healing magic and beauty of the flowers. This aromatic floral ritual soak may be used any time in honor, connection, and devotion to our flowering friends. With homegrown cornflower, calendula, and hibiscus, lovingly wildcrafted New Mexico wild rose petals and jasmine flowers, pink Himalayan and Hawaiian red alaea salts, and essential oils of orange blossom, rose otto, clary sage, jasmine, and vanilla bean, The Flower Bath is a divine experience of alchemic nourishment. Adding soaking salts to a bath is a cleansing and purifying ritual that renews your entire being. Salts and plants infused into your bath water aid in drawing out that which is unneeded within your body and your spirit, while soothing sore muscles and joints.

10oz

Pink Himalayan salt crystals, Hawaiian red alaea salt, Pacific sea salt, homegrown cornflower petals, locally wildcrafted rose petals, whole red roses, hibiscus, jasmine flowers, orange blossom absolute, rose absolute, fractionated coconut oil, clary sage essential oil, mandarin essential oil, jasmine absolute, vanilla bean absolute, flower essences of wild rose, red hibiscus, wild sunflower, and ox-eye daisy

Brew a few heaping tablespoons of herbs in about a quart of hot water and let steep for 20 minutes and then to bathwater. If you wish to prevent having to clean out your tub after, pour the brew through a mesh strainer as you add it to the bath.

Founded in 2010 by plant lover, folk herbalist, herb gardener, medicine maker, botanical perfumer, flower essence practitioner, and devoted believer in the cosmic healing powers of our wild allies Kate Clearlight, Plantolk Apothecary is the manifestation of Kate’s verdant green love for the plants and her reverence for the tradition of folk herbalism. With an approach to herbal medicine deeply interwoven with honoring the plant spirits, Kate crafts plant medicine as a bridge to help connect people with the healing magic of the green world.

All of Plantfolk's botanical creations are crafted in mindfulness and gratitude from the purest ingredients available: using a variety of sustainably, ethically, organically, and locally-sourced herbs, oils, waxes, essential oils, clays, botanical extracts, and hydrosols. Kate grows many of the herbs she uses in her blends in her gardens in northern New Mexico, and distills her own plant and flower waters using an artisanal copper still.

Kate has been joyfully studying and practicing plant medicine for the past 15 years. Some of her training includes the life-changing Roots program at the California School of Herbal Studies, as well as completing an advanced apprenticeship with the magical herbalist Rosemary Gladstar of Sage Mountain and the professional practitioner program with the Flower Essence Society.
On most days she can be found working in her herb gardens, formulating in the apothecary, sitting with the plants, hiking with her dogs Gaia and Lilikoi, or otherwise engaging in the magic of the Green.
